Epithalon
Telomerase-related peptideEpithalon is a synthetic tetrapeptide, meaning it's built from just four amino acids, developed out of Russian aging research dating back to the late 20th century. It's one of the more well-known names in longevity-focused peptide research.
Studies have explored its potential relationship to telomerase activity — the enzyme involved in maintaining the protective caps on chromosomes — as well as its effects on circadian rhythm regulation in animal models.
